Project Overview

WayMaker is a leadership development company based in Texas that equips teachers and leaders with engaging professional and personal development resources. They came to Wander Creative looking to transform their in-person training materials into polished books and workbooks that could elevate their seminars and expand their reach.

The Challenge

WayMaker had strong content built from years of live seminars, but most of it lived in basic Word documents and presentation slides. They needed resources that felt professional, engaging, and durable enough to guide learning long after the training day ended.

The Goal

Create three fully designed book and workbook resources that could:

  • Support their in-person training with more clarity and impact
  • Strengthen participant engagement
  • Provide sellable products for their online store to reach an even wider audience

Our Approach

What We Did

We developed a complete design and publishing package for three of their core training books. This included:

  • Designing three fully custom print covers
  • Creating immersive interior layouts for each book
  • Structuring content for both print and digital distribution
  • Giving each book its own distinct visual identity while ensuring they worked as a cohesive series

Why It Worked

The new books transformed WayMaker’s training experience by providing structured, visually engaging resources that matched the quality of their live seminars. The materials became tools participants wanted to keep, reference, and share.

The Result

Their seminars became more interactive and engaging

WayMaker gained new sellable products for their website

Their curriculum now has a polished platform for expansion

This project pushed us creatively in the best way. Each book needed its own personality while still feeling like part of a family, and watching those pieces come together into a cohesive series is something our team is incredibly proud of.
