The Challenge

Launching a new brand like WavMaker requires more than just introducing a name—it demands building trust, cultivating a community, and gathering valuable insights about the target audience. The challenge was to create an engaging campaign that would not only generate awareness for WavMaker but also connect with content creators across various niches, driving them to take action. Additionally, the campaign needed to collect demographic data to better understand the audience.

The Goal

The primary goal was to establish WavMaker as a recognizable and trusted brand within the content creation space by running a high-impact giveaway campaign. This involved:

  • Driving meaningful engagement across platforms like Meta and Google.
  • Encouraging creators to participate by offering prizes like mirrorless cameras, gimbals, and free subscriptions.
  • Collecting valuable data about the participants, such as demographics and areas of focus in content creation, to shape future strategies.
  • Building WavMaker’s social presence and community as a secondary benefit.

Our Approach

Social Media Management

Consistent posts, stories, and videos, during the campaign. We also had a pre-announce buildout where we created multiple post to make the account look active before the giveaway began.

Email Marketing

Created a landing page and form for people to sign-up for the giveaway. The form included questions to help segment the audience for future campaigns. Once the user signed up, they entered an automated “flow” that included a welcome an introductory email sent a day apart.

Content Creation

We captured content to help develop the look and voice of WavMaker, as well as creating all graphics for the giveaway.

Paid Marketing Campaigns

Tailored advertising strategies for each platform and A/B tested multiple creatives to see what was performing the best.

Additionally, we developed the brand’s visual identity by capturing content and designing graphics, solidifying WavMaker’s distinct voice and presence.
