Graphic Designer
Caroline Conder is the newest Graphic Designer at Wander Creative, bringing a strong design eye and a background in photography to the team. She creates cohesive visual identities and compelling graphics that bring stories to life across digital and print. With an appreciation for both composition and creativity, Caroline crafts visuals that feel fresh, thoughtful, and true to each brand’s voice.
What inspired you to pursue a career in graphic design, and how did you start your journey at Wander Creative?
I’ve always really admired graphic design and knew I wanted a career in the arts. After taking my first Graphic Design course in college, I fell in love with it and knew I had to pursue it further. My journey at Wander just recently started, but I’m eager to grow and learn!
Can you share a project you’ve worked on at Wander Creative that you’re particularly proud of, and what made it special?
I have always wanted to design an album cover, so getting to design a cover for Broken Chalice’s new Christmas single was a super cool experience!
How do you stay updated with the latest design trends and technologies, and how do you incorporate them into your work?
Social media sites such as Pinterest really help me stay up to date on design trends. However, every now and then I’ll flip through a magazine or art book for inspiration. I find that the best way to learn is by doing, so my design process involves a lot of trial and error until I master a new technique or skill.
What is your creative process like when starting a new design project, and how do you approach collaborating with clients and other team members?
My creative process typically looks different depending on the project. I usually start by brainstorming ideas and getting creative inspiration from clients, then taking off from there! I find that clear communication about the goal and inspiration for any project is key.
Outside of work, what are some of your personal interests and hobbies that help you stay balanced and inspired?
I love being outdoors, so hiking and exercising are two big hobbies of mine. I also enjoy painting, trying new coffeeshops and restaurants, and doing freelance photography on the side!
